Berry Chai Overnight Oats

  1. Wash berries

Ingredients

1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats (steel cut oats shown in the photo for illustration purposes only)

1 cups unsweetened almond milk

1 Tbsp hemp, chia, or flax seeds

¼- ½ tsp cinnamon

¼- ½ tsp nutmeg

¼- ½ tsp cardamon

1/2 cup blueberries or strawberries

3 - 4 walnuts or almonds (optional)

Directions

  1. Pour all ingredients (except nuts) together in a small glass jar, cap then shake the jar.
  2. Immediately chill in refrigerator.
  3. The next morning, shake jar, remove cap and warm in microwave until desired temperate is reached.
  4. Make several servings in advanced and store in the refrigerator for a quick breakfast on the go.

Notes

Other optional mix-ins could include: 

  • Coconut flakes, all natural peanut butter or almond butter, a few 70% > cocoa nibs
  • Flax seed or chia seeds could be substituted for hemp seeds.
  • Pumpkin seeds could be substituted for walnuts and almonds.
